Chillicothe Idol Contest- Kids were encouraged to
send in demo tapes of themselves singing
the
National Anthem. The winner sang at the Freedom
Festival and will sing the national anthem
before the start of Stage 6. One bike and helmet
given away.

“Just Peachy” recipe contest at Hy-Vee – Kids
submitted samples of their favorite peach
recipe. The two winners each received a new bike
and had their recipe published in the paper.

Monday Night Group Rides – held
in August and September in celebration of the
upcoming Tour. Bikes were donated for new riders,
and a trailer was donated to carry and store the
bikes. Every rider received a t-shirt.

Rotary and the Optimist Club. Healthy snacks and
